Not too long ago I tore ACL skating so I decided to pick my fingerboard back up. It's a great compromise because I cannot afford to miss anymore work with skate related injuries, and refuse to give up the skate scene! (I've been skating for 11 years) my question is this... Does anyone have any old completes layin around that a fellow finger boarder may be able to put back to use? Medical bills got your boy broke!

I'm not picky, just wanting something better than my tech deck so I can improve beyond kickflips!
Any help would be greatly appreciated and will be repaid as soon as possible!

which one are we talkin? I've scanned eBay and I've found a few. I've seen p-rep, dip, some gator molds, and a few others. Do you have any recommendations on em? I've watched reviews on YouTube but none that are very effcient.

Broken Knuckle is great for a beginner set-up. They are cheap, and they are good quality (not amazing, but they will be good for what you are working with) The shape is great for beginners, and they are really cheap. I definitely recommend them

I got a pretty good complete from Oneway Fingerboards. You can contact him over Facebook to try and work out a deal too. I was able to get a purple one. On his website, it says his decks are pressed with cnc molds, and they do look consistent. He's a really nice guy too.

Yup, Broken Knuckle Fingerboards (P-rep) was my first wooden fingerboard, theyre great boards for beginners and cheap too. If you become more into fingerboarding, you can always upgrade

1st of all. Tech Decks are not shit. They are not exactly in fashion these days, but back where the scene was smaller we still did nollie heels on those.

Also, i don't get why people recommend china, when he already have a complete Tech Deck. The awesome thing about fingerboard products is that they are essentially all Tech Deck upgrades. So almost anything you buy will fit on a TD.

Ambition is a good link for a cheap deck. I have a feeling about all the $5 deck companies that theres a risk of them being a bit too cheap (low quality), but it'll still be an upgrade on a Tech Deck, so it's not that bad.

The problem with most wooden decks today is that they are wider than Tech Decks, which will make them a little awkward on the 25mm Tech Deck trucks. Luckily a set of 29mm china trucks shouldn't cost more than $3.

If you'd like to keep the size of a Tech Deck, but upgrade to a quality wooden deck you can either try and get a deck from the good ol' days on the B/S/T forum, or you can hit up Pure, Temple, myself and many others for a custom deck.
Some of us might be flexible with pricing

yeah mikkel sums it up perfectly, i certainly dont recomend getting a china deck because they just arnt worth it, you can get amazing decks for a great price (lovedrug, pures, temples are all better than yellowoods an BWs in my opinion) an grab a wide tuning kit from fingersized, your onto a winner!

The problem with my tech deck is that it is way too small! I've got long skinny fingers, I need a wide board! I used my friends g14 and fell in love with the shape. I'm lookin for a wide shape with mid kicks and mid concave. I think I'm going to snag an ambition deck and try that out.
