Im a freshmen I start on aug 5 2013.

It was better then elementary and middle school but still sucked for me. I don't really mind the learning part it's the people i had in my class or the teacher tbh. Usually it's the students that get to me though. High school can be cool because it gives you a little more freedom and for me was actually easier then middle school. I also feel the classes are more interesting. If I had to give you some advice it'd be to not be that one freshmen who tries to be cool by doing stupid shit like interrupting the class to make joke/argue with the teacher or starts fights at lunch, don't fail your classes cause it will bite you in the ass, and be more social if you aren't the social type. The one thin I regret is keeping to myself and my smallish group of friends. Overall I can say you'll enjoy it and don't listen to those kids that try to scare you about starting high school.

Stay on your grind freshman year, as easy as skipping is... It will come back and ruin shit. Freshman year was the easiest year for me to fuck up! Just handle business, then have fun! F'real doe.

Do ALL your community service this year.

I just graduated from high school and all I gotta say is stay on your stuff man I know kids that dident graduate because their freshman year they screwed around. No one likes to be that kid! And I agree with that^ do your community service this year trust me you'll put it off till the last minuet like I did if not!

Glad it isn't in my school. I'm now in Grade 8. Things are pretty fun, some subjects suck hard though.

Hell, I didn't do as much community service in high school as I did in my first year college. 6 hrs for 2 classes was the requirement. 12 hrs ughhhh.

I miss highschool, it's fun.
Enjoy it, becuase it goes quick then you get tossed into the real world and it's stressful. You'll wish you had never gotten out of school.

Whatever you do don't get behind freshmen year. I fucked up in Math and now I am a Junior possibly going to math 2A when I should be in Math 3A.

But other than that It's pretty good, well depending what type of school you have.

And I start August 6th lol.

Going into my Freshman year. I earned respect from the teachers is eighth grade though, (wearing a hall monitor sash and writing people up is a good example) so now my freshman year should be easier. Also considering that my brother is going into his senior year, and I'm friends with a lot of his friends, it should be much easier.  

Yeah don't fuck up and stuff with homework and stuff. GPA is a thing you don't want to have to be ashamed of. Keep on top of your homework and don't be stupid. Also I know this might sound cheesy but go out for some sports or something, too. It's a good way to get out there and meet some new people. Hope this advice helps

I hate school so much that I go there and fingerboard and still get good grades
