Wild are going all the way this year.


Blackhawks suck, as do the Pens and Caps.

I'm a Devils fan...that's all there is to be said at this point. Only thing keeping me sane is the 6% chance at McDavid.

And you're a Wild fan? I used to have a soft spot for them because of Lemaire...Parise kind of ruined that. Dubnyk has been a treat to follow this year. Not completely sold on him as a full time starter next year though.

missed my first wild game in 5 season on TV last night VS the islanders. wife and I went to dinner over watching the game together. we have matching jerseys with our names on it with our wedding dates on the back. we are die hards =D

live in the state of the blue jackets, but I'm a wings fan. datsuk always amazes me, and I'm hoping we move on this year. chara is one of my other favorite players, but other than him the bruins aren't really a team i follow

I'm not a hockey fan (well it's not that i dislike it, it just isn't shown at all in the UK) so as an outsider I'm curious... Which league is stronger? The US or the Russian league? Also are Canadian teams incorporated into the US league?

ye there are canadian teams, but its not really a USA league. we have two conferences, eastern and western, and divisions within each conference. so there are canadian teams along with american teams in each conference. I'm not really sure which is stronger between the two being russian or american as i haven't really watched that many russian games other than the olympics, but we have some great russian players on american teams, like ovechkin on the capitals and bobrovsky on the jackets. but yea american teams play canadian teams all the time, just like in baseball, the american teams play the only remaining canadian team (blue jays)

Well, let's put it this way...

Canadians and Americans aren't going over to Russia to get paid the big bucks.

So that's why you have some of the best players in the world (Ovechkin, Malkin, Teresenko, Datsyuk...etc, all Russians for this example) coming to the NHL to play.

And yes, being from MN I am an avid viewer and fan of the Wild.

Blackhawks lost big to the wee little Flyers tonight... Wild are now just 3 points out of 3rd in our division and 8 out of 1st place.

Is it too soon for Cup predictions for anyone interested?

Montreal is going to win the cup.

The Russian league (KHL) isn't really close to the NHL. A better comparison would be AHL (league right under the NHL) vs. the KHL

Rangers fan. Pavel Datsyuk is still the best player in the league. Rangers going all the way.

Had given up on the season, but wow!! what a late season push! Our new goalie "Hammond" is on fire!! First poor game was last night when we fell to the Rangers and he was pulled after allowing 5 goals.

Hopefully we can keep the Bruins at bay and make a playoff run.
