| I'm thinking about getting a t3i with the 18-55mm lens, is it a good beginner lens for someone that wants to start taking some pics and film fingerboard?

| The 18-55 is still a canon lens, so the glass will be perfect. I suggest you buy a manybrand fisheye (samyang, rokinon, opteka, bower, etc.) for filming. The 18-55 will help you in the beginning though |

| I thought you meant the 600D was more than the T3i.
If its the lense that costs the extra you should check what kind of lenses you can get for that price, and compare the reviews that are out there. |

| oh ok Yeah like you said, the body cost 390 quid and body + 18-55mm cost 435£. So it not that much more for an descent lens. |

| I think you should. I have 4 different lenses but I'm using the 18-55 one the most. |
