So I've got an iPod 5th Gen (video), last week the right earphone stopped working, I figured it was the earphones since I've had them a good 4 months now. I tried a different set of earphones, the right earphone didn't work on those either. Then I tried my usual earphones with my phone and they worked perfectly, so the problem is definitely in the iPod.

I searched it up and many people had the same problem online, but it was solved with a new jack. I bought a new jack online and replaced it this morning, yet I'm still getting the same problem?

Anyone got any other ideas? Replacing the jack seems to have worked for everyone online, yet not for me O.o

^Installing the jack is ridiculously easy, there's not really anything that can be done wrong with it lmao.

Try make it play in mono and see if you get sound in both.

There's no setting to change it between stereo/mono on this gen
