Only thing that I don't like about Dank Decks, not many of the ideas are original. This is blatantly taken from Radramps

How can you complain about these decks being too similar to rad, when woob has a ripoff winkler graphic and no one complains...

Because the point of zac's graphic was to directly copy the Winkler Wheels graphic.
Jimmy took the Rad idea but he didn't really "care" (for lack of a better word) that he was using that idea. That's why when I pointed that out he just said "I guess."
The decks look sick, but he should come up with some more original decks is all
BTW Jimmy, the split you made me was very original and super sick. You should go more along those lines for the future imo.

It kinda does. The Winkler Wheels graphic was a harmless joke, and everybody knows the Winkler Wheels logo. For example, no one will look at that graphic and say "Wow, did the owner come up with that logo?"
But it even shows in this thread, some people didn't know the striking resemblance between Jimmy's decks and Rads. That is probably because not as many people know that Rad does engraves like that. But even complete noobs know the Winkler Wheels logo

I'm not even sure these woodburns are a take on Rad Ramps style, but i see they are similar.. But there is literally no difference between the two examples i have given.. At least to me theres not, and I'm usually the critical one.

Looks nice Jimmy! I don't see how Jimmy is copying radramps style. He even engraved it with his company's name so saying its a ripoff of radramp engraving doesn't make a lot of sense. Also, someone in the homemade deck thread made a berlinwood graphic replica but I guess its ok because he's not selling them??? It looks similar but really, at the end of the day, its just an engraved deck.

Pretty similar imo.

Zac even said in the description of the deck on the site that it was a tribute to one of the greatest. I don't see anything wrong with zacs wood print or the woodburns jimmy did

Not really Gunner.. I disagree with the people that don't think these decks are alright, so i voice my opinion.. Isn't that why we're on a forum?


If you look at the lettering on the examples that was posted you'll see that the font is different. Similar, but still different.

I mean, they are just similar. At least the dank engraving isn't multicolored.

I think the decks look great and I know they are way better quality wise than I could ever do.

As long as no one is hurt or offended and it is not a direct copy It would be alright. Although not the same this is very similar. But thats it..

Like, I was kinda worried that my "poop" graphic deck would offend anyone. Even if the graphics only resembles a "pop" decks style of graphics and plays on the name resemblance. It was just for fun, so I wouldnt sell it on my website. I dont feel comfortable with that If you know what I mean..

so could taking them down fix all this commotion?
