I got tech decks a couple of years ago and just flipped them around and stuff nothing good. Then I stopped and one day I found a tech deck behind my dresser and started actually trying to learn the kickflip because I knew the ollie. Looked up tons of videos and finally ordered a bwnm with g6as

I remember I was.. 15? and some kids had tds in my form in school, and they were trying to do tricks on the desks and didn't really know how to do anything.. Then I had a go and kind of just.. got it. It just felt right, but, I never really pursued it. I didn't know what to do and didn't manage much other than the ollie and shitty pressure flips. I lost my td a while later and it wasn't until I was 20 that I found a td somewhere, and decided to look online for it. A while ago I had found out about flatface and blackriver online, but never brought them as they were sooo hard to get hold of back then (like.. mid 2008? nothing was in stock ever that I could find..). Just before christmas 2008 I found closeup, and asked my brother to get me a closeup g2 blank. Was sooo stoked to get it. I got into tricks properly and watched tutorials, and just had soo much fun. I soon brought a brr U rail (which I still have), and riptape, and that made it even more amazing. Then around may-june 2009 I got a no comply CP mold and that just elevated even more how much I loved fingerboarding. And I went from there.. to finally filming a mini in october last year, finding this place after hearing an advert on FBRadio whilst listening to it on the way to sweden, and, yea, now I'm mod, and have three sponsors. Looking back, its pretty amazing to think what it started with, but, I'm hooked for life. I <3 fingerboarding, always will.

At the very beginning of last year, Tech Decks became a huge fad at my school. I was really interested in them because they were real skate graphics, so I went home after school and dug around and found my brother's 2nd gen (I think) World Industries Tech Deck. I just random flipped it that night and was amazed by it. The next day after school I went to Walmart and bought three Tech Decks. I decided to learn an ollie. I remember I spent like 2 hours one night practicing it over and over and over, and I finnaly got it. I kept doing it the whole school year at recess and in class, and eventually I was the best techdecker in my school I used a Tech Deck for like 6 months before I got a Fingerdecks D1. I got fairly decent at actual fingerboarding, not techdecking, but it died out at school and kinda did for me too. I quit for like 5 or 6 months until the beginning of this school year when my friend told me he still fingerboarded a little (only one person other than me stuck with it, but he pretty much quit now). This inspired me to go home and find my board. I was pretty bad again, but stuck with it and gradually got pretty good again. A few months back, it really took off when I decided to buy Flatface wheels. I'm pretty much hooked for life now.

My friend in 6th grade found some Tech Deck dude skateboard. I used it and was hooked. Then I saw them in Walgreens asked my mom and she made me do a chore to get it. Then I sucked really bad. I kept losing them so i would steal like 3 at a time from Walgreens. Then I kept gettng them confscated at school and then I would steal them back from myy teacher. Did it all that summer. Beginning 7th grade year bought me a FingerDecks D2. The rest is history nukka:)
