yeah i have something really weird...been fingerboarding for around 4years and i can do 360flips off stairs, on banks, miniramp, out of blunt fakie, fakie out but i cant do them flat??! when i try to do a tre flip flat my hand blocks (some sort of spasm ) and i can't even get my board airbourne, it is so weird and i want to get rid of it...

try only using your back finger to do the scoop and the flip...a 360 toe flip...or backfoot 360 varial kick lol...idk man sounds weird hope you figure it out...or try other scoopy type tricks like impossibles or something and get used to the feeling...to me it seems its all scoop and wangle jangle neon sunglasses hype lol.. I like to do my 360 flips low and quick with less scoop like mullen style lol.

Sputnicwarriors I know that feeling where your hand just blocks and doesn't want to do the trick. Only thing I can say is not to thing about it and hope that works. I swear if I keep trying to do flat on a fingerboard in my regular stance, its going to give me a heart attack.

yeah if i am just riding like a line and not thinking about i got them consistent and always clean...when someone asks me do a tre flip (or 360shuv) it all just blocks...

I had this problem as well ! I found that its because you are so tense so follow these steps to cure :

1. Relax and do not think about doing them !
2. Do a couple ollies and kick flips before and then go straight into it do not pause to think
3. Evetually you will be able to do them without the warm up etc

give up and break ur fb, then crash ur car for no reason.

What I did, I just focused on really scooping my back finger. The outcome of this being some random 720 triple flip or whatever. Overtime, I would try to slow down my scoop until I could control it to a perfect 360 spin with a kickflip.
Basically, just focus on scooping really hard, and then work on getting it to where it is a treflip. Hopefully that makes sense

solution... JUST FUCKING FB you will get better don't strees it..FB for yourself and for fun don't get all tense... and yeah I cant do shit on film or when ppl are watching Id be lucky to bust some hammers..

Yep as it has been said, this " block " thing will unblock with time. I had it with switch heelflips and it's gone one day.

I find its in both your fingers, you gotta scoop in and push out with your index finger at the sametime, like doin a kickflip with a 360 popshuvit at the sametime, hope that helps
