| like boardrails if i made a small company? i really hate to say, but it would be like USA only for a while, and cash only. id only want like a dollar for a set. or like 3 sets for 2 dollars. ive got tons of board rails cut, yellow blue and green. they dont have a sticky backing like the flatface ones. but ive always wanted to start a company. just let me know if you would!
i know when i started fingerboarding back in 08/09, tuning companies were the shit. so i think it would be cool for small tuning companies to emerge again.
and yeah, i can start a team. and shipping would be free |

| By board rails you mean zipties with double sided tape on?
Why wouldn't people just make their own? Easier for both you and them. |

| if your going to start a company, at least offer something with some thought and effort...
anyone can make boardrails in 2 minutes.
you dont need to ask though....if you think you can make it work go for it!
maybe if they were gold plated rails they might be attractive???...something not yet available. |

| Definitely go off mattys idea of split zip ties. Its something different and it shows effort. Make just a whole bunch of different patters with different colors but still have them be cheap. Also if you added adhesive backing i think you would get a lot more sales. |

| if this were me, I'd take the idea of board rails and make them a bit more awesome. Work out your own adhesive for them, then either do some 'split ply' (multi colour cut ups) or paint some colours you don't see in zip ties so they're a bit more interesting. THENNNNNN... BRANDING. Get some cool stickers, a cool logo, and maybe some unique packaging. Make people stoked to buy board rails and stuff like that this would be amazing. There's nothing wrong with selling board rails as maybe kids don't want to DIY, they just want to slap them on and go from there. I'd totally pay 2-3 dollars for a split/painted board rail with a nice packaging and a sticker. Innovation is key in my books, how ever small |

This thread got me wondering so i decided to try and attempt to make some. It was somewhat hard just because of how small the ties are. It was very tedious and somewhat time consuming. But still a very cool concept that i feel someone can master with enough time and practice. (Also sorry if the spoiler doesn't work and the picture is taking up the whole page) |

| I would so buy some of your boardrails if they had a sticky backing. I just do not like gluing them onto a deck. Too messy. I also love oldschool DIY looks on fingerboards. |
