So my local skateshop/where I kinda work is gonna start stocking some fingerboard stuff - at first it was just gonna be Tech Decks, but I'm making sure we're gonna start stocking some other stuff too. It's not going to be much - just some china trucks/wheels/tape, and some cheaper decks, plus possibly some cheaper ramps (low-end BRR stuff). The idea being not to be a specialist shop stocking high-end, expensive gear, but acting as a gateway, stocking Tech Decks for kids to buy, and then a selection of accessible and low-priced stuff that they can then upgrade their setup with a selection of accessible and low-priced, to introduce them to fingerboarding as fingerboarding, as opposed to Tech Decks and toys

We're also aiming to have a park - at the moment, it looks like it might just be a selection of larger BRR ramps that I've got hanging around set up as a park, because time + money constraints are kinda preventing me from designing and building something better, although it will still be a park! The only other public fingerboard park in the UK besides Kerry's at Campus skatepark!

So yeah - there's no date or anything for having this stuff in yet, nothing is actually ordered yet, it's all still being sorted out. But I just thought I'd let all you guys know! If you've got any suggestions or whatever then let me here em!

We might also be able to hold a bit of an opening event once it's all sorted I'll keep you posted on that!

Oh also the shop's gonna have a website (it only recently opened so it's not sorted yet) and stuff will be for sale online too

Sounds awesome! I think some companies on here would be down to sell you some decks so you can have more than some china decks. I wish i had skateshop/fb shop near my house.

No we probably aren't gonna carry China decks! There's already pretty cheap decent decks that you can get from good people (whereas wheels + trucks tend to be pricier), so we'll probably get a few decks in!

Just need to find China suppliers that don't want you to buy 10000 wheels or trucks hahaha

I think this is a great idea, and a nice way to introduce skaters into the fingerboard community. I also know of a skatepark in Ohio that sells Prowoods (who actually may be a pretty good company to look into)
But yeah, I'm glad you are taking to initiative to do this

sounds amazing! if you guys need help with ordering, getting a decent contact at BRR, or designing a park - let me know. you can really easily make a park for cheap, the campus park was literally made from scraps of old wood. Even something simple would work soo much better than a few ramps on a table - something cool to do is build a basic replica of a local skatepark, that way the locals will even more want to ride it

Nice! Love to hear that the UK scene is growing! Making a park is dirt cheap as Kerry said. I built my park which is 1200x600mm only costed around £35 to make so it's a bargain!
