| Y trucks are 55 but td longboard trucks are a great alternative. Or also, those new fingerplant 32mm trucks. As for wheels, if say get grands, winklers, oaks, or flatface wheels.. But if you're going cheap, some CNC china wheels would be good. |

| or you can always look to buy some wheels used. chances are they will be in good condition bc wheels last a longgg time. itll be cheaper too |

| I can confirm that Chemistry trucks are indeed shaped TD long board trucks, but there is nothing wrong with that. Other than a few somewhat obscure brands like fingerplant and planktoon, they are your best bet for decent, well-priced 32mm trucks. $20 really is the best deal your going to get, so unless you are willing to try an unknown factor (such as planktoon), or spring for Y's or BRT's, I would completely recommend them Also, you get the longboard they came from with the trucks, which I wasn't expecting and is pretty cool |

http://www.chemistryfingerboards.com/products1.html As mentioned earlier, they are just modded longboard trucks.. I'd personally just get them from a Tech Deck.. |

| Yeah, getting your own TD longboard and shaping then is definitely a good option, but for me it didn't work out much cheaper, and then I've seen Chemistry trucks and liked the shaping job on them so it was worth the money.
I personally struggled to get hold of the RIGHT TD longboard trucks (all the ones I could find had these weird drop-through kingpins), and once you include shipping fees and the time to shape them, $20 bucks just didn't seem a huge ask (esp. compared to 'pro' trucks, which I don't think I buy into, tbh).
Not sure about Oaks, but Y's definitely fit them, if that helps any. Check Xi's 'what the truck thread, I bet that'd tell you for sure. |

Spray some wd40 in them with the end piece the can comes with, or some bearing oil, loosens up whatever crap is in the bearings if there is anything. Either one will do the trick, spin them on your truck with your finger and then wipe it off and blow into the bearing to get everything out. Should work |

| Jared is correct, the ones in his pic are reverse kingpin trucks (rkp). Most commonly used for downhill longboarding they will not work correctly on a skateboard, skateboards use traditional kingpin trucks (tkp) and those are the ones you should be looking for. Pic of tkp td longboard trucks (the correct ones) |

| Yeah i got the conventional kingpin ones identical board to the picture. Its on the underside of the baseplate and its the end of the kingpin sticking out so the don't sit flat. |

| they turn differently than regular trucks too, so filing them would be no good. I also bought a pair by accident, which was very irritating. |

| He said he got the right pair, the kingpin was just sticking out at the bottom. You can get rid of it with a file or buy dump trucks and use those baseplates if you're too incompetent to use a file. Or you can drill kingpin holes in your deck. |
