Ok! I feel like a lot of the threads in here have been a bit negative lately, so let's get on the posi-vibe!!

What is your favourite thing about fingerboarding ?


Mine ? 

Creativity.
Fingerboarding inspires so much creativity, product making, photography, filming, art, so much! 

So post up yours, and let's keep the positivity flowing. 

There is too much to love about fingerboarding. From landing new tricks, to getting new equipment. But i think i would have to say my favorite thing about fingerboarding is meeting new people. Going to events goes along with this. I have met some really cool people over the past few years of fingerboarding and i can honestly say, they are some of the best friends I've ever had. I don't know where i would be without fingerboarding.

I like it because all of the girls think it hot.

I like it because its never a lonely sport.

I like it because I never get made fun of for doing it.

For me, its the community. Everyone involved with the scene. We all keep it thriving and we all keep it a sport that anyone can join. Its not exclusive, if someone wants to do it, they can. Another is events, because there are none around here besides the ones I organize I find a lot of fun in them, meeting new people and just having fun fingerboarding.

All the friends you make

I like how it tends to expose people to other things. For some it's filming and others wood working or just working with your hands in general.I don't think I ever would've wanted to get into all these diy projects if I hadn't started making decks. I'm sure it's shown other people different things but those seem to be the two most common. I also like how fingerboarding has made me friends all over the world.

im all about positive vibes, and couldnt agree more we needed a positive thread for sure.

my favorite thing about fingerboarding is obviously that it lets me do what im no longer able to do, just on a smaller scale. if it wasnt for fingerboarding i probably wouldve already lost my mind from not bein able to think, which i feel i can only do clearly while skating and fingerboarding.

ive met some pretty dope homies since joinin the online scene as well, which is an awesome plus of course.

my favourite thing is probably that the community is so positive almost 24/7. It's always a good time when your fingerboarding. I'm yet to go to an event, but planning on going to a future rendezvous and I'm assuming the vibe is the same!
I also always get a good feeling when I'm setting a board up, new or old doesn't matter.

I like being a part of a cool community where everyone has common interests. I may not be the best fingerboarder, but it's a super fun hobby- the possibilities are endless!
