| Yo I made the experience that softer wheels and the main part a softer desk plate would help a lot but when It is too soft it is very hard to flip but that wouldn't be a problem Yes just go you hardware store and ask for soft wood and buy one |

| If you put ear buds inside out and cut the tip of them off and put them over you wheels it gives a kinda of duarometer look and makes em quieter, only thing is they become really grippy |

| some of these answers man... nonsense.
If its late at night and youre trying to keep it quiet just sesh on some magazines like ryan said or sesh on some mouse pads.
I don't see why you would have to keep it really quiet during the day, but at night mousepads/magazines work nicely.
keiran is right about the granite though, it just has to be thick enough to absord impact sounds. all you hear is the snap of the board popping and the tick tack of it landing. without any of the big noise.
sorry but putting rubber things on your wheels or buying a new 'soft wood desk' or whatever.. are pretty silly suggestions. |

| Yea, I always used magazines too. Still do if there's people home, sound is particularly annoying to people who don't fingerboard lol. |

| I think the magazine idea is the best.
I personally get out some printer paper 15-20 sheets thick and fingerboard on that. |
