So, FAB is back, with a new "Flatshape" and at a very cheap price of €8 The old ones with the foam molding on the ends are €29.
The new Flatshape is also under 2 grams, so you can use it on a blowdryer, and possibly a good fan.
See the post on FBTV here http://www.fingerboardtv.de/page/3/

Figured I'd start a thread to discuss.
Personally I think it's one of those things that doesn't look very impressive on camera, but when you're cruising out of a car window the feeling is amazing. It's like surfing a constant wave.
I'd like to see it take off a bit, somebody has obviously put a lot of time into a quality product and some good innovation.
I've ordered mine from BRR, and it's shipped already

I tried making one for myself out of paper. Liked the shape of it but it was way too heavy to be used properly. These look great and would probably look really fun to use. Its kinda like getting something that looks stupid but it turns out to be really fun like finger roller blades.

I make my own, they're super light and work! Here is the one I'm yet to throw away XD It's getting pretty beat up in my fingerboard box as you can see... I should probably make another. Btw the string can easily be taken off, obviously. I make them with polystyrene pizza trays that are sometimes on the bottom of your pizza when you buy them from the shop... It's good because it's light as poop and has some depth to it, kind of rough when cut though :/
Click spoiler for the surfboard i made.
Spoiler:
This thing actually works btw, better then i'd of expected. A bit of transparent grip on the top of this thing and it'd work a dream, you wouldn't have to use any kind of scooping motion at all then and you'd easily be able to move it forward and back without scoop. Now all we need is a miniature wave machine!

Idk. I want to try one, but I'd rather just tie a string to a board I don't care about. If I like it, I take it from there.

I am curious ,but still not sold on these. The only prior experience I have with them is that Air Boarders Trailer and I loved the idea of the movie as a piss take, well essentially the movie trailer is a well constructed piss take.I am curious though so if they are really quite cool, please inform this noob.

Did you read any of the actual post or just skip straight to the criticism ?
Here, let me simplify.
New finger air board, now 8 euros.

No I read the whole post just seems like the 29 euro ones would be cooler to use considering I can make a flat one. Not meaning to argue, just my pov.
