How are we supposed to keep the scene alive if you drain it for money, by spending your cash in china rather than on a company that actually does stuff?
Even if you don't feel the difference between a set of china wheels and a set of scene made wheels, you should have enough respect for the people that try to make this hobby more awesome, that you save up the extra cash and spend it on some wheels that are made with care. Some people don't have jobs and therefore not enough money for decent fingerboard gear. I personally, only own one set of China's and they were from my first setup ever in which i had no idea that I was buying from a china company at the time. |

| You can definitelty tell the difference, especially after 1 or two months of using the wheels. China bearings are way worse on quality and thus durability than pro wheels. Besides is really important to set pro wheels with pro trucks to get the most of both. If you set china wides with ff wheels its just not gonna work that well, and if you set brt's with chinawheels the same. If you get brt's with a blackriver edition wheel which has been designed to fit those trucks hell yeah you're gonna tell. I've been fingerboarding for about 6-7 years so far, and I got my first pro trucks and wheels less than half a year ago, because I spent my whole life thinking that it wasn't worth it (I was using tunned wides with ffg6s). Then I finally got brt's with ff brr ed. and some witchcrafts (cuz stock brr bushings are shit) and it was a massive improvement
Personally I like good modified china trucks for my other set ups and I try to get cheaper wheels also, but I never liked the "laser" china wheels one, too soft and too loose in the truck |

| I don't know if it's been mentioned (didn't read all replies), but you need to compare the chinas to CLEAN pro wheels. I've tried peoples wheels before that were old, dirty, etc. and they feel much worse than chinas. just a thought to consider. |

| Man its been ah while since I been on,been busy last few months since kids went back to school. Anyways yes I can def tell a difference in chinas and good pro stock, I have mainly rode ff g6 and g7 o's and blackriver edition wheels but just got my new yellowwood wasp 32mm deck and went with ytrucks and oaks and im in love with both. chinas just tend to feel bumpy to me but I have only used the old ones and not the new cnc versions. I guess its what you want and what you want to pay for as well. |

| I had some China lathes, and when you first use it, they were extremely smooth. But after two wheels, it lost its smoothness, not because it was dirty. With my G7s and grands, they still feel like they're new after months of use. |
