| So by now some of you may have seen the new flatface centralized dual-bearing wheels.... what are your thoughts? Personally I'm thinking of getting a set but the only thing stopping from doing so is the price... $49. Personally, I find that abit too high... I know flatface wheels are amazing but if you compare them to other good dual-bearing wheels the price difference is about $15. For this money you could buy 2 sets of grand wheels, some decks... etc. Let me know you think below |

| some people buy them because other than oak they are the most realistic wheels (dual centralized like a skateboard wheel) and some people will buy them because they assume since they cost more they must be better. im sure they are nice wheels regardless of price though. |

| I personally think Mike can charge more because he needs to pay his machinist and he also puts a lot of money back into running Flatface. |

| I think flatface's wheels are sick, it'd just be nice to see them have a better soft wheel selection, they don't make any soft wheels for BRTs. |

| I have a set and wouldn't consider it soft at all, its maybe a bit gripier, but relative to d material which is pretty much hard plastic.(or feels like it atleast) |

No.. They've had dual centralized wheels for at least the last two years... ._.They used to be sixty dollars, the g7/g7.1 used to be 53 dollars. :l this isn't a new product at all... They may be new to the new site, but they were on the older site long before the new site was even thought about. |

Exactly, when you order from Flatface, you know the money is going toward either running events, making products, creating new products, getting more stock (for distribution) and also so he can afford to sponsor events and people |

Everyone that makes wheels has to pay the machinist And from the FF wheels i have seen, i doubt that Mike is using the most expensive machinist But yea, fanboys will buy anything.. I never understood the Flatface hype. |

| The wheels are probably excellent, but I have trouble paying this much for wheels. Then again, people have payed $53 for oaks. Also, grand has great centralized dual bearing wheels for WAY less. People will buy them just because theyre flatface wheels, but flatface wheels are high quality and you pay for quality. I probably won't buy them, but if you do... Well, to each his/her own. |

| Grand Wheels are at least as "high" quality, if not higher than Flatface. |

| I just recently paid 45 dollars for durometers and honestly couldn't be happier with them. By far the best fingerboard wheel I've ever used. And I've never had a problem out of any flatface wheel and I've had pretty much every material and tried g4's, g7's, g7.1, brt ed. pretty much every wheel they have released within the last 3 years.
Off topic though, where do you purchase grand wheels? I haven't tried them. |
