| Hi guys! I just got a weca deck but when I tried screwing the baseplates on I couldn't get the screw all the way through the baseplate.I tried the same thing with other screws but it didn't work.I am thinking it is the deck that is too thick and as a result I can't screw the trucks on.Do you guys have any suggestions? |

| oh.... well unless you want to mess with making the countersinks bigger, you wont have many other options.
I cant see why you would be having this problem though. I see many many people with Weca decks, and never heard of this being an issue.
What type of truck are you mounting? What hardware are you using? |

| I am using normal screws and just some dump trucks I bought .I am thinking of just gluing the screws on the baseplate .Do you think I should use a different adhesive? |

| What do you mean by "normal screws"? Did they come with the trucks? Are they threading in at all? Are you able to provide any pics? |

| They came with trucks and yes they re threading them a bit . I may try taking some picks if the glue doesnt work. |

| you might be able to thread them in as best you can. and then add a super small drop of crazy glue into the hole in the baseplate. I have done this before with both good and bad results.
Best of luck. |

| I had to do the same thing on my weca cause of the thickness of the deck. |

| yea weca's are insanely thick. i couldn't use normal brt screws when i got mine and had to opt for the really long td screws instead. luckily it didn't strip my baseplates at all. i guess countersinks need to be made deeper! |

| its not the countersinks in wecas, the countersinks are fine just the decks way too thick. Either too thick veneer or they are not pressed long enough. |
