| Hello all, I have been working on a new kind of deck that i think will be revolutionary in the world of fingerboarding. I have designed a very customizable (I can even take requests) and affordable line of decks. Although they are made of plastic, they have the quality of a professional fingerboard. They will probably be less than $10 for a deck Does anyone think there is any potential in these? This is my 30mm high kicks/concave prototype

The side pic looks janky. If the price is right so people are sure to buy. |

| Ha its okay, maybe revolutionary was the wrong word to use.... But do you think it has potential in the fingerboarding market? Maybe for beginners that don't have much $ to spend on a decent deck? Not that this is relevant but I can make them in a variety of colors/sizes and even engrave into the bottom of the deck.
Thank you for the feedback, every kind helps. |

| Back when there were no wooden decks, people started making wooden decks cause they didn't want to ride plastic.
The shape looks really weird.
You say you can shape them after the buyers preference. How accurate is this? People are extremely picky. 0.5mm matters. |

Thank you for the feedback, every kind helps. Maybe. But the way I see it, you can heat up tech deck kicks and come out with the same result. It's harder to find the 32mm tech decks though so that's something. |

| The camera on my Ipod may have distorted the image, but it is definitely not perfect I have a few kinks to work out. I can make any width easily and any shape/concave easily within .5mm precision. I just need good specifications to go off of. |

How do you like the concave? its not a bad idea at all i just think you are lacking some skills and machines. ps and no it cant be hand done. there is no such thing 100% perfect made by hand but machines are 99.99999% perfect , not sure what type of machine you would use but overall its not a bad idea but its been done before , nfb molds offered decks custom like that except cut out of wood or metal . |

If I had to take a guess I would say maybe these are 3D printed or some other plastic extrusion method using a CAD program. It would be difficult to have that much control over custom designing each aspect at such a low cost with individual molds. The pics are pretty low res but the bottom of the deck looks like it has parallel lines throughout and there are cut aways for the baseplates, which is what made me think of 3D printing. It certainly needs some work, but no one else is making any kind of plastic deck, so I say go for it! |
