EDIT: added an extra pic i found

So as some of you know (probably not that many its been over 5 years) I used to own, and operate a pretty successful Fingerboard Rail company called Grindstone (aka Rackem' Rails on FlatFace).  Shortly after awhile, I lost motivation to keep pressing forward, and sold most of my stock to Mike Schneider. These rails were THE SH*T! in my opinion though, the manufacture I was working with could design absolutely anything out of a sheet of the highest quality metals imaginable. SO, that being said I'm willing to give this another shot, but this time carry the company in a 110% professional manner with no slip ups (as i was 16 then, and 21 now). I will be talking to my old manufacture sometime next week. So if you guys have any ideas for a new company name, or a logo idea hit me up! Like i said, FREE RAIL no charge at all to the person who designs me a sick logo.

So, what you guys think? Should I give this another shot? The types of steel, and processes we used were hands down of the highest quality possible for finger boarding, you could even skateboard on them!

I think Grindstone is the best of those names..

I don't really feel that the list of names you wrote have a skatevibe to them. If you want a new name, you should give it good time, cause having the right name means a lot.

Thank you, Mikkel! I'd have to agree, Grindstone does have a pretty catchy tune to it. I just want the freshest start possible, which is why i am considering a company name change. I'm currently designing some new rails, so hopefully something comes to mind!

Opening a company is your decision, are you dedicated ? Do you have the time ?  Does your passion outweigh profit ? If yes to all, go for it.

Im not so great with the naming process, its actually my major set back for my company as well.

but i just wanted to say the quality of those rails looks sick and super heavy duty, id definitely ride one.

one gripe i have with some of these pre-fabbed rails is the dimensions are off sometimes as far as length/height ratio and the scaling to the actual size of the fingerboard.

Eh im looking for something more like the berlinwood or blackriver logo I really dig that style

Hey thanks man! I really appreciate that. Yeah I know what you mean all the rails in my last batches were 100% robo cut welded and machine made eliminating the chance for error 110% of the time.

Yeah the stone part was kind of just a play on words. Just like how blackriver isnt a boat company and flatface doesnt perform plastic surgery. Lmaoo
