| layer it. use regular cardboard from package boxes and tape it into whatever obstacle you're making and tape it really lightly. afterwords use cereal box cardboard to make it smoother/stronger. |

| You need layers. For example if u made a half pipe, you would cut out the shape of the side like 4 times, glue or tape the layers to a base, then glue or tapir another piece of cardboard on top which is the part that u ride on. Look at some videos on youtube of how to make a cardboard fingerboard obstacle |

| For cheap grind rails I would suggest going to your local hardware store and look around for the section that sells door handles. Like the metal ones that often are on desks and cabinets. They work extremely well as grind rails and actually the only rails I own are constructed out of these handles.
For making the ramp strong either weight the bottom so you don't move it around a. Bunch or tape it down. Also be sure if you are making a curved ramp such as a quarter I would suggest making supports on the inside of the ramp. It make it stronger and longer-lasting. |

| Shoe box cardboard tends to be stronger. I use cardboard to make stair sets and it's actually pretty strong, considering you're not really doing too much to wreck the cardboard, though. |

| I use box card for the supports and frame and cereal box card for the facing. Duct tape or a hot glue gun (like $5 from craft stores), to put it together. Just use the same methods of reinforcing ramps that you would use if you were building full size.
You can make a half pipe that is very sturdy if you reinforce the facing card with thicker card every inch or two. I've built some very sturdy ramps using this method (lasted a year of constant shredding so far). |
