Subject: wheel tuning/fix how to? Sun Feb 02, 2014 8:29 am
My winkler wheels isn't what they used to be, how do u make them like new again ? I have tried cleaning them and some 5-56, it worked fine before with that method but not now.
Tips?

The ball bearings are bad, was thinking if there is some way to get them to roll well again?
Any good ways to clean them?

Maybe you could soak the wheels in alcohol and then leave them out to dry? This could break down the stuff that is making them feel gross and then the alcohol will evaporate completely leaving them dry and clean?

It worked, some alcohol and 5-56 and 3 out of 4 is as new!
