what is so bad about having different threads for different projects?

i like how people lock threads and act like they are somehow doing something productive here, but really they just "think" that they are moderating.

i thought this place was about fingerboarding........ nope its all politics.

You're missing the point. What I was trying to point out was that you don't have one thread for your updates like you said you wanted. If you had one thread for your event and the ramps you're making I doubt that'd be a problem. And trust me I don't get off telling other adults on a fingerboard forum what they can or can't do.

Ryan isnt the bad guy here hes just saying you make to many threads for your over grown fingerboard ramps when u just need 1 thread for all....

the reason why i made a separate thread for each project was just so that i could personally keep track of everything im working on.

if i put all of the projects into one single thread i would be lost amongst everything because it would be like 5 projects mix mashed together.

normally i dont have this many things going on, but i just can't help it right now and i have a bunch.

i dont mind when people say...... "hey can you merge some of the your threads together so save space?" or something like that.

but when someone just locks it ............ because they FEEL LIKE IT...... that just upsets me.

this thread of mine was locked simply because somebody didnt like it. wow. you mean thats how this place works?

there was no logical reason why that thread of mine got locked and that really p*sses me off.

and its not like im here just posting a bunch of spam either. ive spent many hours working on these projects. its a total slap in the face when you just spent 6 hours working on something and then someone locks it.

in the future i will try and combine project threads now when i can. thanks.

I know you have a problem with the way i sort in some of the retarded shit you post, but it is really only your problem. Often when i lock/delete some of your stuff it is because the post has been reported, so it's not just me. I've also seen reports of your posts and chosen not to do anything.


Feel free to post updates about your ramps either in this thread or make your own thread for your projects when you are making project diaries.
The reason your roll over thingie thread got locked, is because it was mostly just a picture of your ramp.

Also, Ryan's suggestion about having a thread for your Texas meetup ramps is propably a good idea cause you seem to be making a lot of stuff.


The key is really just "think before you post".

Thanks man... No, it's fake grass, but some of the most realistic we've found...

Updated shot... rail is now finished, alongside a couple of small marble manual pads... Shown here alongside the grass gap obstacle we made a few weeks ago.

So this is a box/curb/or whatever you wanna call it i made couple months back i bought a tiny wooden box and carved a little from the edge so the coping would sit nicely there. then i applied numerous layers of lacquer for a long lasting finish. Main reason for this was to have a box for my setups/hardware and something to sesh while on the go
