You probably wont need new trucks or wheels, tech deck trucks and wheels work fine for the most part. I would just get a cheap wooden deck and get a good feel for it before you invest into bearing wheels and a good set of trucks.

You dont need a wooden deck/bearing wheels/ pro trucks, a stock tech deck is on of the funest things to ride! and if you do want a wooden deck, get a wooden techdeck, there better than the plastic ones and like the same price lol, or even better make your own deck!

All you people who are saying he neads to buy a wooden deck are lame..... fingerboarding is about having fun and you dont need an expensive set-up to do that.
