| Hey, I posted before about which fingerboard to buy for my first wooden fingerboard. I chose frost fingerboards, they are really well regarded. I got an option between Mellow and Regular Store link . As you know I'm currently using a standard tech deck. Which would be better in that regard? And what is the difference between the mellow mold and the regular mold. Thanks for helping me becoming less noobish with this stuff, guys! |

| It's really hard to say, as shape preference is something you develop over time.
You should take the one you think look the coolest, and if it's not your taste you can always sell it and get another shape. |

| you cant go wrong with any frost deck. regular shape has higher concave so if you are used to a tech deck with no concave maybe try a mellow? |

| I'm all about mellow, now. High/regular kicks are really good to learn on, but I think a lot of people progress onto more mellow shapes after a while. Good choice on the Frost,mI've wanted one for ages, such classy splits |

| well since you r just starting out you might want something that you can do tricks on(higher kicks) then if you start to like it and get tricks down, then gradually move down to mellower decks. if you start to get too mellow go back up to a little higher and thats your shape right there! also experiment with width and concave. deep concave is control and mellow concave is mostly feel and preference. also wider decks flip slower but have more control so its all your preference really. good luck |

| The one with higher kicks will be easier to learn on but mellow is way more steezy and fun. I feel like it really shows your style more through your fingerboarding when you dont have kicks that are doing everything for you. |
