ive been wanting to hold one for a long time, itd be held in sheffield whod be able to come?



right ive got a location and the 11th 18th and 25th of september are available there all saturdays the room to hire £8 per hour and thats the small room im sure its a fair size just the big room is £13 per hour so you will all have to pay certain amunts depending on how long the event lasts for

also theres a skatepark near i dont skate or anything so if you wanna bring bikes and skateboards down you could go for a skate before of after im think of the event starting at 12 and ending at 5 or 6 thoughts?

I'd try my very fucking hardest to come.
TBH we all need to organise something. Its pretty obvious that UKR3 isn't going to happen, and neither is cyclone 3. Rather than just letting nothing happen in the UK, why don't we all work together to make an event? I don't see the point of me holding one, much as I'd be happy to, as I'm right at the end of the country pretty much, a central ish location would be better, like where most of you guys up north live.

christmas time is gonna suck for events though..itll be cold as hell and stuff.....like august is about the latest in my book.....i dont want to get on the train and stuff in the cold....id much rather it was warmer and not raining.....

This. People are really busy at christmas with family and such, and often go on small holidays to visit family. A meetup around this time is a bad idea..

Regardless, whether someone is or isn't doing something AGES from now, why don't we sort something out for the end of the summer? We could easily manage it if we all put our heads together. Would be fucking sick. I wanna meet you guys and have an amazing fb sesh!

And haha, danny, that doesn't cover petrol costs, which sadly would be a lot for that distance..

They now do plymouth -> manchester, and a bunch of other places over the country! under 30 quid return. I'd need to stay overnight somewhere, but, that would be another 30. 60 quid, is proper cheap. Thats what the train was gonna cost up to UKR2.

im away for the last week of the summer holidays. im here for the last saturday and sunday before the 1st september

Meh the end of the holidays is a bad time, we could probably do it once everyones gone to school and then that week holiday becuase most people are around then and I'm on holiday for the last 2 weeks so it'd be hard to organise. If someone would be up to doing something in a back garden?? It'd mean we don't really have to organise it really just a date...... My gardens too small

yeah but it could be in some obscure place thats a treck from a station

well its blatantly going to be, train stations are in the middle of towns/cities and places to that'd let us have a meetup held there out would be a bit far out. BUT, we could easily have people meet each other at big train stations, and/or post detailed travel information using google maps/etc, AND.. I'm sure a bus would only cost like 2-3 quid.
