| When i first time got my kickflips down they were fine but shortly i noticed that i developed my flips to be a total disaster.. i recently noticed that when i do a kickflip i flick it with my middlefinger("backfoot"). It hasn't bothered me before but now that i've learned to do tre's correctly i want to fix them. My question is that have you guys had same kind of problem and how does one re-learn tricks? I have been trying for hours to get my front finger do the flick but everytime i try it either flicks it to spin 360hardflip or doesn't flip at all.. hating this feeling of not being able to make my fingers do as i want them! |

| I had this problem when I first started too, was annoying as hell!
Do your kickflips in fakie and exaggerating the movement in your wrist I found helped me.
It could even be that you need to get ollies down solid, so that you have total control over them and your front finger is doing all the work. |

| There's no real flick in kickflips, just a slide upwards!
Think about an ollie, your fingers only move to make the board travel upwards. To make the kickflip, make the gap between your two fingers much larger in a sudden motion. You should feel your front finger sliding towards the nose, you should have the flip too! |

| Yep, I did back finger kickflips for 3-4 years before I realized if I wanted to progress, I would need to learn how to properly kickflip. It does come in handy knowing how to back finger kickflip though. When learning no-comply kickflips, you basically already have them down because it's the same motion, flick with your back finger and keep your front finger out of the way. |

| Thanks for the tips! I already have solid ollies and can do lots of tricks without problems but kickflip is just a pain in the @$$. Going to do alot of fakie flips as they seem to go like flips should |

| if you cant get the flip off what i do is literally push your first finger strait down on the edge of the nose and make it flip. it should look like your curling your finger towards you a little and thatll make it flip. |
