| i have a problem with Diamond Wheels on BRTs. The wheels become stuck after a short time, because the BRTs Hangar fits right into the hole on the backside of the wheel... when i use the small washers (~3,5mm), even the locknuts fall off after 2 tricks. A smaller washer that fits into the wheel might fix the problem, but idk if that exists. Does anyone know what else i could try? |

| i lacquer, light sand, lacquer, then sand and lacquer once more. the second sand i do a more coarse grit of paper, then the last coat tends to be the best looking. between lacquer and sand, i usually wait 30 minutes, then after the last lacquer, i wait a couple hours just to make sure |

| I know this is an answer to my own question but, it would be difficult to use ywheels with single bearings because the wheel is designed like a real skate wheel by the inside where the bearings sit because there are two sides where the bearings sit meaning single bearings would cause wobble and you could only put the bearing one one side of the wheel. I just wanted to warn everyone |

If you are doing light spray coats then you can reapply when it is dry to the touch, usually in 10 minutes. If you are applying with a brush you should allow about 20 minutes after it is dry to the touch before applying again. The can says two hours between coats because that is the cure time till it reaches "acceptable hardness" by their standards for handling the work. For the bottom of my decks I apply 3 brush coats about 30 mins apart, allow for full 2 hour cure time after 3rd coat, then 600 grit sanding, final coat, and cure overnight. I also as a rule do not hold the deck by any surface that hasn't had at least an hour to dry/cure. |

| ^nope.. Theres usually both a time for coats and a time for curing.
Curing can often take 24 hours for lacquer, depending on which type you use.
You should follow what the can says, and then experiment with making the time between coats shorter.
My lacquer is dry after 1 hour, and cured after 24. This means that i technically have to apply the next layer within an hour from the first coat or after 24 hours. In between is no-go.
What i do is apply a few layers with 5 minutes in between, then let it cure, then sand it smooth and lacquer it again. Usually this does the trick, if i'm not satisfied i give it a sanding and another round of lacquer. |
