| Can you buy replacement axles for BRT's, or would I need to buy a hanger?
Just there's a set for sale that have a snapped axle, but I can't find first aid kits of the axle only, just hangers. |

Quote from 'Newest Decks' thread. Which other tapes are worth trying? Only had FBS, Riptape and 2 different Nonames until now. FBS had the best feeling imho. |

| It's a damned good point everyone's making, Pure also do amazing splits... Depends what you want, I guess... For the geometric, clean precision look, Pure are great, and for something more playful, Ktown are also works of art... So many choices man! Anyhow, as requested, here are a couple of examples. KtownThese are all Ktowns, but the one on the left is a custom split ply that Grant made for us based on a specific brief, which was just perfect. http://instagram.com/p/nxRmnhFm_-/PureAbstract, crisp, perfection... And the shape is sublime too! http://instagram.com/p/nvQ06yFm-z/ |

| Addendum... Shape wise, if you want something with a super deep concave, we're also very happy with some recent decks we got from Fatal Fingerboards... http://instagram.com/p/nxmgXjFm0I/ |

| Kthumb, I'd recommend giving RedWolf Tape a go... Got some recently, and it's our new favorite tape... For a foamier feel (but still mega thin), b-low tape which is available from TNP is also a pretty cool alternative to the more utilitarian FBS... |

| I didn't include Beastpants in the list because I don't have a BP custom, so can't really contribute a meaningful opinion... And, more importantly, I'm guessing BP has his hands full right now with Stock4... But yes, they're magical decks!
As I said, lots of very cool choice out there, and I'm sure you'd enjoy a custom from any of the guys being mentioned.
And no probs kThumb, lemme know how you get on with those... My other half thinks Red Wolf tape is the greatest ever invention as it can be trimmed perfectly and it feels like it's broken in pretty much straight away... We reckon you'll enjoy! |

| I've sent the BeastPants guy a pm as I read an article where it said they completely changed the split ply game, hopefully he will get back to me soon.
I want a Woob too, contacted the guy a while ago on here, but haven't had a reply, I figured he's probably super busy.
Dunno what to say, Paul, all those decks look fantastic, I'm gonna think through what I want done, but I really like the trippy geometric shape one, looks awesome. |

| Cheers guys, how complex can designs be for split plies?
I'm guessing that it's a pretty difficult technique to master, I have an idea of what I want but think it'd be too difficult to pull off the design, I'll wait and see if any of the guys get back to me, sometimes I get the impression that some folk here think I'm not serious about fingerboarding, and that's why I get blanked when I message guys about getting a deck made.
Only 2 guys seem to take me on through PMs, but as I already said it may just be that they're super busy right now and that's why they haven't replied yet.
Yes, I've only been doing it for a short while, but I'm an old dude, we used to make perspex decks in school and mess about with them, obviously no trucks and wheels, this was in the late 80s/early 90s, and I tinkered with Tech Decks years ago too, so I am serious about this hobby!
That green chequered deck looks bad ass, and the other one, Paul you have all the cool stuff man! |

yeah, i will tell you Frostie Sadly it'll take a long time until i can get it, shipping from the US to Germany is a tragedy... But it's also an opportunity to finally order some Witchcraft bushings also, hrrhrr. |
