Do you mean like the actually outside diameter of the wheel? Because if so, I personally would use one of two methods. 1. Lathe. If you have access to one (which is a possibility, idk) then I would figure out a way to push the wheel into a sized piece of metal that would go on the inside diameter, holding it in place firmly as that you could figure out how much material you would want to take off, adjust you cutting tool bit to do such, and carefully repeating the process continually for all four wheel. Please note, in the process (or most likely any process) if you take a decent amount of material off, the edges will get squared. If that's the case, carefully using a fine piece of sand paper while the lathe is still running round the edges over again. If you know someone that has a lathe or experience/knowledge with one, consult them as they may know what I mean. Now... If you don't have a lathe or any idea what I just said.. (I wouldn't either if I hadn't taken a machining class!) 2. Dremel. If you have access to a dremel and some of the various types of bits that can be used with such tool, find one that seems to be capable of roughing material off of the wheel of your choice. Find a single hanger, a washer, wheel of course, and nut to put that all together. Attach it together, and if you have a vice it would be smart to put the construction into the vice with a firm hold with of course the wheel sticking out a decent space. After it's all rigged up, I would carefully using the dremel and bit of my choosing (I personally have done this with my oaks to get the wheels to smooth out since they were bumpy, and it works decently and wore the outside diameter a bit) turn the tool on, make it level with the wheel, and run the bit against the wheel horizontal to the surface, carefully making sure to not take off too much at a time. Depending on the bit you use and how you do it, you may have to use a smoother, polishing bit to smooth out the riding surface of the wheel as well. I know that was a lot to read, but I do hope that it may have helped you out! ^_^ Cheers. |

I'd try with a crappy set of wheels first but have them set up on a deck and rub the wheels in a circular motion on a piece of fine grit sand paper |

My package was apparently lost in the mail and got sent back to him. After he sent it out again it took about 1 and a half week or something to get. He has sent me another package now though like 3 weeks ago I think and I haven't got it yet |

And as for frostie, sometimes he orders so many things he gets his account frozen for fear of theft. I've received my package from him with no problems. Could be a frozen account due to massive orders, could be a customs issue... But I can say he is legit as they come.
Side question~ FROSTIE WHERE ARE YOU?! |

| Small Phillips screwdriver (or I use a TD tool) pushing from the back through the hole. I set it up on top of an open pair of pliers so that the edge face of the wheel is on each nose of the plier but the middle is open to push the bearing through. Even low quality bearings have a higher hardness of metal than a TD tool and there should be no marks on the internal sleeve of the bearing if you just push it out vs tapping it out. |

| I tried that method before on China cnc wheels, but the inner rides got scrapes on them and you can feel the rough bits grinding against the axles now, maybe I was just too rough with the tool, but I wouldn't remove them like that again.
I asked about lubing micro bearings before, but wondered if Bones Speed Cream could be used, or would it be too thick?
Thanks. |

Thanks. I havnt had that happen yet, but I guess to be on the safe side you could put the wheel on a TD truck backwards and put a nut on. This way the face of the nut is what is making contact with the bearing instead of the pointy screwdriver tip. Pull the wheel and truck in opposite directions and it will come out (provided the hole in the back of the wheel is large enough for the nut to pass through). |

| I have Jessup on a couple decks. It's pretty middle of the road as far as courseness. No complaints: doesnt tear your fingers up, cuts easy to apply, and 10x better than what's on a standard Tech Deck. |

I think I have. I used this brand called Jig a Loo. Made used china wheels roll a lot better for me. It's great but I think using bones speed cream would be better if you don't mind the back of your wheels getting a bit dirty. |

| I used to work in a hardware store, and this is the best lubricant for just about anything that will be exposed to or compromised by dirt and dust: http://www2.dupont.com/Consumer_Lubricants/en_US/products/non_stick_dry_film.htmlIn a nutshell, the thin teflon layer makes for super smooth frictionless gliding of the bearing within itself and on the axle. I have the 4oz squeeze bottle. I put the wheel on the axle, place a drop into the wheel, slide it up and down to coat the axle, then put the nut on. Dry time is about the same as the super glue I use on my kingpin nut (I'll usually wait about 10 minutes after I set up a deck before I use it). Since it is a dry film the dirt and dust will not stick to it and dirty up your wheels and there wont be any greasy residue mucking up your nice granite counters. |
