Is your mold aluminum? And how is it dirty, like covered in glue? |

| It is an aluminum mold,I have tried scrubbing with a toothbrush but it has like a dark surface build up that won't come off and I don't want to scrub it with something that may damage the surface.I am looking for safe suggestions to hopefully bring back to new or close to new. |

| I'm sure you will find better advice on another webpage. Some people out there must have experience cleaning up aluminium. Maybe start by asking Jim from NFB what he would recommend. |

| Yea I've had to do this for the longest time, never gotten around to it though. I wouldn't do anything to my mold though without checking with someone that has a good amount of metalwork exeperience. |

Let it boil in water for a while. The build up should come off by itself, if not you can pick off whats left |

Use a piece of old denim jean material and buff the skate grip. Should take the edge off without wearing it away too much or leaving debris all caught in the grit. |
