| I have to angle my tool a bit to get some nuts off the 2nd hand BRTs I bought, the nuts are a bit rounded, but tilting the tool on the nut a little bit then turn and they come off fine. |

Seems like people us Portland cement or powder fine mason/mortar mix. Those are the two that I've seen mentioned in concrete park and bowl tutorials. Based on my experience when I worked in a hardware store, you would be better off with getting both. Use the fine mason mix as the base layer for everything and skim coat/finish off with the Portland cement (which is concrete without the sand, super smooth but not as strong structurally). Then follow the finishing instructions of primer, paint/garage floor finish, etc to whatever you want it to come out as. |
