it differs from country to country and depends on from which company the song is. where i live, it just get's blocked if it's sony/bmg, no matter if you comment something like entertainment purpose.

Looking to mark a line across the tail of my board. Should I use silver sharpie or a light coat of spray paint

i'd go for the sharpie.
my best guess is to do it with a paint marker and some masking tape. because i think the sharpies ink will soak into the deck so that you can't sand it off no more.
using spray paint would be too messy and the paint would cover too much of the deck like the sides, unless you mask the sides aswell.

Been thinking up some ideas for a new fingerboard brand and got a design for the first few boards etc, however, i have hit a barrier in my process... where should i get my veneer from, anyone know anywhere good or what i should search for because i can only find really expensive 'iron-on shit'.

look up on youtube how to unblock copyright videos for 2014...

If the claim you make dose not work and they still block it.. all you gotta do is delete the video..re-upload.. and repeat the claim again and it should work..its all done by computers and its bullshit. If your not monetizing your videos its a complete infringement of your rights. Its like "hey prove to me you have rights..if you cant F*%$ you!"..

I normally use some metal without a label or anything.. messed up part is these giant distribution company's find them, tag them, claim copyright, and sell them digitally without the bands consent or any royalty's.. so they make money and the band gets nothing. Ive actually contacted a few bands and they were not aware that "orchard music" some giant bogus distro had claimed rights to it. They gave me written consent to the fair use of it.

i once had that happen to me as well on my music channel.
got a notification that one of my uploads had a copyrighted song by ... entertainment so i searched their signed artists in their archives and didnt even find the punk band i uploaded...

Exactly trent most of the bands or singers are not even aware of this whole copyright system and some don't even care but youtube makes sure that your background music is not as the same pitch as some vevo singer or whatever. Well I'm working on a new edit and found a site called free music archive so I'm just gonna give creds to the artist and go for it.
