| sup guys. I have an aluminum mold from a while ago with a fantastic shape but the only downside is that it's 31mm wide. I'm wondering if anyone would buy a 31mm wide board if they really liked it or is 31mm too narrow?
thank you |

| I'm sure people would, you can clamp the outer edges of the veneer as well with those small clips to try and make wider boards. Might work. |

thanks. I just realized that 32mm and 31mm are not that big of a difference so there wouldn't be much of an overflow of wood in the mold when cutting. I did a quick test and the 32mm deck is not going to be much of a problem: |

| I've made a few different stencils with varying widths and found that the deck & truck width combination plays a big role in how it feels to ride. I prefer a 29-31mm deck on standard TD wides or China wides and a 32-33mm deck on the TD longboard trucks. My favorite width is 31/31.5mm because you have the most amount of different trucks available out there that fit comfortably. |

| A lot of people go for wide decks, but a ton still ride 29's. |

| I think a lot of people would buy a 31mm wide deck... My friend is riding a 31mm wide flaked board and it doesn´t feel much slimmer than a 32mm deck |

| some days I ride my 32mm and others I ride my 30mm also depends on terrain type for me anyways. If I am on one of my parks I like the 32mm. If I am in the hotel during work week I ride 30mm on desk a lot. |
