| So I acquired a ton of wood for the Texas Rendezvous because I was planning on building tons and tons of ramps for that event. Well the ramp building took a long time and I didn't build so many. As a result I have lots of left over wood in the garage. While I still have all of my tools out I feel like building something else. Then got this idea. A HUGE Flat-7-Stair-Flat-5-Stair-Flat-3-Stair set OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I just kind of set up the wood to see what it looks like and BAM!!!!!!!! I don't think I've ever even seen a ramp obstacle this big. I mean it might as well be a park, but in this pic its only a Flat-3-Stair-Flat-3-Stair and I will change that to a 7 then 5 then 3 stair. Holy mother of God. I'm not even going to tell my family about this (because we don't have any room in the house), but I'm going to make it anyway and just say OOOOOPS! I think its going to be around 6 feet long. This is nuts!!!!!!!! WATCH THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| If I were you I would just make it a park, you can't do anything on a ramp that big |

| Add a couple rails, maybe a mini quarter, and possibly a gap then it'll be really fun. |

Purestake
For some reason this quote things isnt working.
Yeah, I'll probably add some rails, but my ramp building philosophy is to just keep it simple and basic. I can always just place extra ramps and obstacles as I please, but I'd rather have extra things non-permanent because on different days I may want to skate different stuff. And if you put too much on a ramp or park it just becomes overcrowded and cramped. I like making my ramps really big with lots of room because I just want to have that much freedom and the comfort of have empty space to do whatever I want. |

| So remember when I had this idea? Yeah, its getting made for real! Update All of the stairs are cut out. It's going to go 7 stair then flat 5 stair flat 3 stair. And I may start a company as well. The name so far is Phat Ramps! Here is the prototype logo.

| Progress Update: Here is a pic of all of the stairs and flat sections stacked. This is the board that I will be using to make the sides of the ramp. It will later be cut into two pieces, one for each side. Here is all of the stairs and flat sections set out. When its completed it won't nearly be as long as it is in the pic. It got dark so I had to stop, but you can see here that I'm tracing out the exact lines that I need to cut an order to put all of the stairs and flat spots on it and so that they fit nicely. I think its going to be like 7 feet long. |

| Okay remember this. I thought I would finish it up. Here is the progress so far. This is the wood that I used for one side of the ramp. You can lightly see in pencil that I traced out the stair case. Here is a close up of the pencil lines. Here is the cut out pieces. I clamped them together and sanded them so that they are pretty much identical. I'm actually surprised how well they came out. Here is the assembly. Garage is kind of messy it normally isn't this bad. It almost done just have to screw it and glue it together. I will put either rails in the middle sections or ledges and maybe paint it. |
