| Hi guys, I know that most of you don't know me because I'm on fingerboard HQ only from April, so: I'm Carolina and I'm the owner/deckmaker of Queen's decks. I just wanted to share with you all my work and tell you what I do as deckmaker and what Queen's decks means to me. I made my first deck on 06/06/2011 (unfortunately it wasn't 2006 ) and from that moment I didn't stop improving the shape, wood, glue, craftsmanship and all that can be improved in deckmacking. I didn't reach my best, I just try to improve all I can, and I will have this mentality for ever, because I believe in Queen's, but most of all I believe in fingerboarding. Every deck is 100% handmade by me, from pressing to lacquer. I don't want to bore you, so now I present you the decks, their details, photos, website and all; but feel free to ask me for questions, doubt and so on. Actually I use only one mold, that is the "Crown" shape (I think I don't have to explain this Queen's > Crown ). Deck shape: Queen's are 4 plies decks generally, but I offer also different combinations of plies, like: -Aluminium decks- They're made of 3 plies of wood veneer and an aluminium bottom ply. They're lighter than all wood 4 plies -Multiply decks- At first sight they may look like the normal 4 plies, but the peculiarity of these decks is the combination of the plies, that are (from top to bottom or in reverse) wood, aluminium, wood, aluminium, wood. Here is the side view of a multiply deck: I used up all my words, so I leave you some random photos of the decks ---> Website <--- ---> Facebook Official Page <--- Let me know what you think about and thank you for your attention |

| We have a few Queens Decks now, and got to say they're incredible. For anyone thinking about getting one, these come with a strong recommendation as some of the most well crafted and well shaped decks we've seen.
I'm guessing ppl recognise one of Carolina's shots from the recent SOTW, and it's worth mentioning that the Strawberries & Cream SOTW last week from my other half was also a Queens Decks example...
Love your work Carolina, definitely suggest you check em out folks! |
