Ive been skateboarding for roguhly a year now, and I decided to quit.

Why did I quit?

I fudging stink @ it.

Ive been skating for 1 whole year and I cant even ollie

Ive put blood and sweat into learning that one "simple" trick and i cant do it.

Im done with is, its just a load of BS


Has this happened to anyone else?

lol i might start skating but i dont have a skateboard

go to your local skatepark quite alot, and make a few friends there. thats what i did, and they tought me loads of stuff, there was even once these 2 guys who just spent like 2 hours teaching me how to rock to fakie (lol) and axle stall.

I guess maybe some people just cant do it? : o
But, yea, I'd suggest seeing if you can get some people to help you, you'll probably learn them easily that way ^__^

Nah, you should stay with it I've heard of people that couldn't ollie for like a year, that are now really good.

I think you should stick with it too man, People progress at different speeds, just have fun maybe learn other tricks

I used to skate everyday, and it took me about a month (which imo is long) to learn how to ollie but once I got it I learned a lot of other tricks pretty fast. I've kind of stopped skating as much because all my friends quit and my local skatepark has too many drug dealers and shit heads so there's no one to make friends with.
