Got a mini dos, but I'm finding it difficult to do anything on it, has anyone got some basic tricks they can tell me to start off learning on it, as I'm not really able to do much at all.

blunt kick flip?

Just practicing the riding flow is good aswell.. Throw some axle stalls, rock fakie, rock n roll, 50-50's etc.

When you have a good smooth ride you can start throwing in some kickflips and shove-its.

Thanks guys, yeah Mikkel that's what I've been doing, just riding the transitions and doing axle stalls, fakie rocks just to get used to the feel, I've managed to pop up into blunt stalls a couple times and a few sketchy kickflips, but they've just been landed with pure luck, I've watched videos of folk on YouTube seshing their mini dos and the stuff they're doing is amazing.

I'll just keep practicing.

alot of tranny for me is the style, really get a flow going and get really comfortable doing basic tricks and then move onto slightly more technical tricks

use a smaller fingerboard

Try getting air and then doing really really soft kick or heel flips with your finger. The mini will help you develop some nice flicks as it eliminates the initial pop you have to do on flat ground.

get inspired by some youtube videos and found your own style

pretty easy is to do some pop shove its to blunt/board/nose/tailslide or whatever position.
it's also not very hard to pop any trick you already know out of the blunt position.
there are so many possibilities on a coping, most of the stuff you'll propably find out while riding your mini and get a feel for it.
