So I've noticed that people have taken a liking to Instagram for the fb scene...
Now I must ask you: HOW DOES IT WORK? .-.
Being serious, like how do I get like into it.. I've only ever been on forums, so to do something else where is witchcraft(heh, still need some.) to me. Can anyone out there help me, or perhaps give me a few pointers as to how it works? .-. I feel so dumb for this thread but please, it's honest questions.

I started with IG a few weeks ago and was also a little confused, until i found out it works only with the mobile app. At least if you want to upload pictures.

Just instal the app, create an account or log in with your Facebook Account, if you have one.

With the middle button you can take and upload pictures. When you click the left symbol while the IG camera is active, you can browse your galeries and upload pics you've taken before.
Then you can cut the pic (IG photos are always square) and theoretically just click the right top arrow until the app uploads your pic. You can play with filters or add a description in the steps before, if you want.

People who follow you (you don't have followers when you just started) see on their IG homescreen your uploaded pic and can like or comment. You also can like, comment or follow other people. When you click the menu-button on the bottom right (your profile) and then on the magnifier-symbol on top, you can search for specific subjects like fingerboarding or for other usernames and follow them.
Alternatively you can explore different stuff while the second menu-button is active. On your homescreen (1st button) you see stuff from people you follow.

You can do everything on your computer if you want, only uploading needs the mobile app.

Heh, I understand what you mean! I've been in the game for quite some time now, but only recently tried getting seriously into the online scene here on fbhq so I do t have access either! XD
