| Yes i am thinking very seriously about wheels. I have actually got some that are being made at the moment. But i was just wondering what everyone thought about wheels in general......
1. What is the most popular color? 2. What would you consider to be the best wheels ever made? 3. Do you like hard or softer wheels? 4. Do you think there is a huge difference between single and dual bearing wheels? 5. Do you think that the prices of fingerboard wheels is too high now? 6. What would make you want to buy more wheels?
I'll be making dual bearing wheels as i feel like single bearings are pretty much a waste of time and i think that i can probably do them somewhat affordable. |

| white winklers, ff, substance, noco im liking harder wheels these days not really much difference..duals are smoother, but are a pain with brts.... of course the price is too high something innovative, cheaper than the competition and better ............................................................................................................ what about size? im not really digging the whole 'mini' wheel thing...i like bigger wheels these days but not to big....things like winkler big daddies, tlcs, substance... |

| So in this thread basically you are looking for a good, cheaper, majority hard, wheel that will roll smooth and not be a pain in the ass to put on brts. What do you think would be a fair price, (not outrageously high, not ridiculously low) for a dual bearing wheel. Or a single bearing backless wheel (i assume to change out the bearings yourself) but anyway i'd like to hear what people think wheels should cost in fingerboarding. And we are talking about a good solid wheel like anything from FF, Winkler, Substance, etc....... |

| i think no comply's wheels are great wheels on the right sort of money
also i think a wheels shape is something to look into too....a great shape will attract a lot of potential buyers....something like the shape of oaks, substance, winkler tlcs.....also a material that has that screech to it on bluntslides.......a substance 2010 brr ed made in oaks original white material would be a goldmine imo....only if they were made well, unlike oaks... |

| They aren't the craftmanship of substance or flatface. or the quality. But they look and feel badass. I like how they look dirty and squeak. |

I hope i didn't misread you cos thats a sick idea: you get 2 sets of bearings and if you want them on brr trucks you change them and stuff BTW this is a question,if i glued nocomply minis to my blackrivers would that work? |

| 1. What is the most popular color? White 2. What would you consider to be the best wheels ever made? Substance Quartz 3. Do you like hard or softer wheels? Medium, but, towards hard. Like quartz, basically 4. Do you think there is a huge difference between single and dual bearing wheels? Having tried g7.1s and single bearing brr ed wheels, no, not at all. It all depends how well the wheel is made and how good the truck axles are as to how the wheel performs, wonky ass td trucks make even my g7.1s seem like ass. 5. Do you think that the prices of fingerboard wheels is too high now? Not too much, as, they last, but, a bit. I'd like there to be an affordable option that I could use for outdoor wheels, basically. 6. What would make you want to buy more wheels? An affordable, white, fairly big (winkler big daddy/substance 2010 size) outdoor wheel that makes a nice squeak when you ride it on powerslides etc, like substance and winklers. Preferably single bearing, and not backless, because single bearing backless has NEVER worked well (the substance + wheels always fell apart, and I've heard sooo many problems with oaks being wonky and such, or the bearing coming off the wheel etc.. single bearing isn't as easy to keep stable in a wheel as dual, but, it keeps costs down, so, I think its good overall. And a decently designed single bearing wheel has no problems with the bearing moving. |

| In the last year i have been doing research and developement on these wheels. I too found that in most cases dual bearing wheels rolled smoother (by the narrowest of margins). In thinking about the single bearing backless wheels the problem everyone faces is the bearing staying in the wheels. In the skateboard wheels you have the force of the truck keeping the bearings in on one side and the nut on the other side. But with fingerboard wheels we rely on the nut to keep the bearings in more and more. Throw a washer against the truck and we are off to the races . I'm not sold on the idea that 4 more bearings constitute a 20-30 dollar price increase in wheels though. For the skateboardlike wheels i might see an extra fee due to the machining needed for both sides. But we would like to make this version of a wheel for tech deck trucks. Blackriver could help us all out and make the axle a little bit longer 1/16" or so would be perfect. I have read all the responses here and it looks like i am going to indeed go ahead and give the wheels a try. I won't be making them off a mini lathe, well not one that is ran by hand anyway. So i'll keep you guys updated on this and thanks for the input on it. Keith |

| We're calling the 'copy' card on wheels now are we? Are people gonna say 'you copied my shape! I invented the circle!' ._________.
I don't know the full story of all the hate you're getting (saw the thread on ffi.. WHAT THE FUCK. Elitists on there seem to be hating, then having a go at you as soon as you say anything back, like, they can be dicks and you're supposed to just take it because they're more 'OG' or something retarded like that) and, well, if people don't like something they should just leave it alone. End. |

| 1. What is the most popular color? White, probably 2. What would you consider to be the best wheels ever made? Substance Zero's, rides on anything 3. Do you like hard or softer wheels? Both. Harder last longer, but softer gets more grip and rolls on more surfaces 4. Do you think there is a huge difference between single and dual bearing wheels? Haven't tried. 5. Do you think that the prices of fingerboard wheels is too high now? It can get ridiculously expensive, but for the most part of it, it's worth it, they're there for life. 6. What would make you want to buy more wheels? If my setup dies. I mean actually dies. |

| 1. What is the most popular color? off white/white (ST ultimates, FF C's etc.) 2. What would you consider to be the best wheels ever made? ]FF g6o's 3. Do you like hard or softer wheels? Basically Winklers are perfect imo. 4. Do you think there is a huge difference between single and dual bearing wheels? Singles are better. I 've never had a pair of duals that didn't have problems with fitting on trucks and shit getting stuck in the bearings. 5. Do you think that the prices of fingerboard wheels is too high now? Depends. I think you get what you pay for more or less. 6. What would make you want to buy more wheels? When I have a set that starts to wear out and not roll well.
That being said, I can honestly say that unless you make some major changes to the way you run your shit, I will not be buying your wheels no matter how good they are. I want to give you input on how to improve, but if even half of what's been said on FFI is true, you don't have a snowball's chance in hell of me supporting you.
