| Yeah, he approached me 8 weeks ago, offering me a free S10, so i accepted.
He claims that lacquer takes a week to finish. and a deck takes 7 lol
This kid's ass gets jealous of the shit that comes out of his mouth.
He ripsoff, Lies to customers etc.
I bet his dad buys all of his decks. Just to say that he actually sells things.
I'm tired of this little kid saying to support local scene, yet he resells china wheels etc.
He also claims that he lathes his own wheels, and almost lost a finger doing so.. SUCH BS |

| I love it how you say this dude.. Because I follow you & I follow fireflame on Instagram, and you bow down to them on Instagram, you comment on their pictures they post, about how sick their products are.. But yet, you're talking mad shit about them. Haha, makes sense right? No it doesn't. Don't be 2 faced, and kiss a companies foot, then talk shit the next moment. Lmao. http://instagram.com/p/sk-pepreZt/?modal=truehttp://instagram.com/p/tGrt0NLeSc/?modal=trueReckon? Before you delete your comments, lol. |

| Before I knew much about what was good and what was shit, I bought a FireFlame complete. That was two months or so ago, and I just now got all the issues resolved with that shitty company. The whole email conversation is hilarious and sad. I apparently had to actually remind him to ship things to me. Lesson learned to do more research. |

| Hey, as you may know I am not a big fan of Fireflame, but it would be unfair if this video goes unseen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qkz5N4Efd3gIn this video he shows how he made his setup, that everybody accuses to be a Flatface deck. I'm really confused now... Also, their G4.0 wheels look pretty unique. They look bigger and more clear than china wheels. Sure they stole their name "G4.0" from Flatface, but Idk where they got their wheels? |

| He actually sent me a set of those wheels as a resolution to my whole ordeal with him. They are different than other wheels I've seen.
His products honestly aren't terrible (the deck I got was nice, the trucks were okay). They are however way overpriced and just dealing with him is a nightmare. |

| I think they feel similar to other stuff because that looks like the original mold. I doubt he makes the wheels. |

| I think Jerome from Substance was the only person who was able to lathe his own wheels. He did them on a non-CNC lathe too. Maybe Martin Winkler made wheels at one point but I don't know since I didn't ask him the one time I hung out with him. Other than that it takes years of practice to learn to make them yourself, and for many it's just too much time to deal with. Buying your own CNC machine would cost about $100,000 so pretty sure 99% of CNC'd plastic wheels are not made by the company selling them. Also, where was the computer or smartphone made that you use to post on this forum? #TheMoreYouKnow :-p |

| Also, about the whole "support the scene" thing, for me the only way to support the scene are to support those who do it as a full-time job. Because if you knew of all the taxes they had to pay you would know that they hardly make much profit on any of the products they make. I know for me personally after income tax, sales tax, social security tax (which is a staggering 12.4% of net profits for self-employed people like myself), health insurance, and regular business expenses, I hardly make anything on my decks. I'm close to shutting Homewood down officially just so I don't have to pay all those taxes on them like 95% of the other "companies" do.. It's great to support the real fingerboard fans who make their own stuff, but you also have to consider if they have a regular job they aren't paying nearly as much taxes on the sales of their stuff as those who do fingerboarding as their main source of income. Because they can get away with paying social security taxes from their regular job and not have to pay any of those taxes on sales of their fingerboard stuff which they would claim as a "hobby". Just something to think about. And I didn't even go into the amount of TIME people spend on their products, the more time someone takes making something the more they should charge for it (assuming the quality is there). There's an artist I follow on instagram who can make a sketch (just with a pen) and maybe spend 20 minutes on it, but because of who he is and his reputation he can sell that drawing for $150 within minutes. I've seen him do it many times lol and there's no way it takes him more than 20 minutes to make one of those pictures. Don't get me wrong I love his work and he's a great artist, but I still wouldn't pay that much for a sketch that I could easily do myself. I also see some fingerboard decks sell for the upper $30 range and even some in the $40 range that honestly, if my decks were like that I wouldn't allow myself to sell them. If I did for some reason think it was ok to sell them to other people, I wouldn't sell them for more than 15-20 bucks. But yet people are happy paying the higher price for the brand. So yeah. There's my rant lol. I love and greatly appreciate the support I get from you guys on Instagram/Facebook etc. so I will try my best to continue making decks because I love creating something that makes others happy. So thanks again everyone and most importantly, do what you love, ignore the haters, be honest/kind to people, and KEEP ON SHREDDIN'!!! |

Although, I'll never support fireflame~ Thanks dude!! Lol Jess. He's supported Homewood lately but I don't know him very well so I can't really comment. I do know he's only 12 so there could be a maturity barrier there when he conducts himself on forums/social media. Also your sig made me Lol. |
