Yeah well, I lost my job, and thought I was getting a new one but after my background check came back and showed the DUI I got over a year ago for being high on weed (Wasn't employed at the time or even high (just still had THC in my blood from a joint I smoked a few days before) and didn't know that a friend of a friend whom I didn't know had weed ON him.) AND to make matters worse I got pulled over because swerved a tiny bit grabbing my phone to change the song and I also passed my buddy in the back seat my pack of cigs so they thought I was passing a joint, and we were all smoking cigs when we got pulled over so they thought we were trying to cover up the weed smell.
OH yeah, my buddy, his friend and his friends girl were all high at the time too so... yeah) so I literally have no money for weed. I don't even have money for rent anymore and am moving back home with my folks. But hey as long as I have a fingerboard, any fingerboard, I'm still stoked as hell. feels so good to just roll around and bust a nice kickflip or crooked grind or whatever.
PS I work in the medical field which is why the weed thing is such a big deal and I know I was dumb for smoking at all knowing this but I had just lost my job wrongfully and was really down and my friend had a doobie and I just said what the heck.
Nothing pisses me off more how harsh the penalties for using marijuana when it's safer than 99.9 % of the things your doctor prescribes. Hell in my interview, I even told my would be boss that I had a DUI and when she thought it was for alcohol, something 1234923487237542740 times worse than weed (which unless you're actually high on the job has zero negatives other than the smoke entering your lungs but hey, they don't fire you for smoking cigarettes right?), she told me that it'll be fine and I'll just have to sign a paper but as soon as I was honest and wrote down exactly what happened the day I was pulled over and that I haven't and won't (which is 100% true) smoke weed ever again, they instantly say NOPE no job for you buddy.
