td 3bucks Dont order TDs off store websites. You can't pick which one you get and not all of them have wide trucks. They are all the same SKU number. Target stores can't even get more of what you want in stock from their own storage facility (I've tried, and I've worked in retail, it's a flawed system). there's some truth to this. the amazon retailers don't even let you choose sometimes (unless it's a specific one from a collector). also, that's a standard popsicle td. the real hunt is for a td or tdlb that has wide trucks. |

| tuning is stuff like pivot cups and bushings. grip could also be included in that category. all the small things really. check out the "tuning" category in any fingerboard site and you'll get the idea. |

by being completely anti china you're defeating any efforts of getting cheap tuning stuff. you would just have to buy brt, or y trucks, and witchcraft bushings, and the matching pro wheels etc. all the cnc wheels, wide trucks, most grip, and o-ring bushings are made in china now. hmm
On this forum "china" usually refers to chinese FB factories, rather than anything made in china. O-rings are not made for fingerboards and can be sourced from anywhere. As long as you don't source from the chinese fingerboard factories, then you don't support the chinese fingerboard industry. Foam tape is the same deal. As for trucks and wheels, it's impossible to get non china trucks for a cheap price, but if you already have a Tech deck, why not use the trucks from it? Same goes for wheels. Good wheels costs around $30, so does a good deck. Small investments along the way to improve your setup to something nice. It's much smarter than wasting your money on china shit that's not really an improvement. |

| Best Setup for +-30$ = Deck: ?? price around 15$-20$ (find a used deck on sale or trade section) Trucks: If you ride 32mm I would recommend TD longboard trucks 5-6$ ( you can get them at toystores some times) Wheels: CNC lathe wheels 10$ http://www.brokenknucklefingerboards.com/?q=node/218Tape: I would recommend ACE tape but mostly you'll get tape when you buy a deck 10+5+15/20= 30-35$ |
