| Do yourself a favor and buy a 4c, then upload a video onto youtube of you burning it! I think that would do us all some good. |

| My first setup was with 4CF and, unfortunately, the above comments are pretty much spot on. They have no pop, are ugly and generally perform pretty poorly (although, still light years ahead of a tech deck). I graduated very quickly onto another cheap setup (a closeup G4.1) which also sucked. You may think that as you are used to techdecks you wont be able to tell, but even with very little experience using a bad board FEELS like using a bad board. My personal advice would be to get cheap hardware (china trucks and wheels) and a good board. After the Closeup I splashed out £20 on a Blosom deck (using the 4CF hardware to set it up) and the difference is PHENOMENAL. Once I had used it for a bit I started to upgrade the rest of the components. That said, 4CF does offers good, reliable customer service unlike a lot of the "better" companies. Also, their tape is fantastic! Hope that helps [EDIT] - To answer your actual question though, subtle would have less of a concave. |

[EDIT] - To answer your actual question though, subtle would have less of a concave. Do you know if most cheap Chinese made hardware will fit with higher end decks like Flatface or Berlinwood? Doing something like this sounds more in my price range right now |

| Every china truck fits on berlinwood etc. They are made with standard dimension so yeah id say grab a set of china trucks/wheels and buy a good deck and some witchcrafts |

| Thanks for the responses. As of right now I'm looking at buying a Berlinwood deck for $45 and then using star hardware. Or, I'm looking at the Flatface G12, G14.12, or G14 completes for around $60. What would give me the best bang for my bucks? |

I asked a similar question about completes and was pointed toward the Flat Face G14 complete, which I ended up ordering. It will be arriving soon. |
