Looking to cut a piece of wood maybe 3-4ft by 6-7ft, out of wood with clear coat finish. Just using this to put on top of a table or desks to protect the surface.

Plan on spray painting w/ stencils and then a few coats of a clear finish.

Anyone have a surface they made, and want to share ideas or pictures?

well i dont have any special ideas or anything, but the thicker the surface, the nicer and more dense it sounds.

personally i would go for an inch of mdf.
really smooth and silent material.

3/4" birch plywood is perfect. leave it unfinished.
