Well I've been making decks for a while now, and it's pretty fun. Is $100 dollars a good price for a metal mold though? |

| Yeah but metal molds are one of the best mold materials. You can also tell him the specifications you want anyway. |

| So umm I have had over 25 molds, I had a CNC Milled mold made by NCD Todd and its wheel base was 70mm and a normal wheel base is 62mm. I have expiremented with a Urethane Resin, which is one of the best 'Resin' material its like $30 for a 1qt. can. It is expensive but it works after some practice. Recently I made a shape out of a piece of wood, I got it cut to how I wanted got the dimensions drawn and then used my sander on the kicks and some sandpaper on the concave/dips then just used some bondo on the bottom and it worked out fine. But if you do what I just said you must have pressure everywhere on the mold not just in one or two places, I tried to use a desktop clamp for it and when I got the deck out of the mold it's kicks were lower than what they should be originally, I then tried an equal-area vice and the kicks/concave were what I wanted exactly.
That is just my two-cents.

When you said to have pressure everywhere, were you talking about the bondo and wood mold? |

| Is it also called polyurethane resin, because it showed up a couple of times when I was searching. And if it's not too much too ask, what brand did you use? Once again thanks for all the help. |
