Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone here has tried or even seen Dual Oak wheels... They dont seem huge in popularity but ill still just pick up a set in a few weeks, anyways if you have anything to share about them please do!

Yeh, Ive had them since 27th of July. Here`s a snapshot I took of them before I set them up for the first time..



A thing to note is that these are not made to fit BRTs, BUT they fit snug on Ytrucks!

The wheels are slightly wider (meashures 4.9mm) and bigger diametre (meashures 8.1mm) than the original Oak Wheels. Closer to Winkler "big daddys" I should say. I really like the way they "lock in" for grinds..

The color is of a more clearish white type. Not to far off from the classic Winkler white color I should say, but the material is the same as the Original Oak Wheel "mucho feely/mucho squeeky deal" wich is a good if thats your thing!

The bearings are an open type bearing wich is simular to other wheels using open type bearings. They roll extremely well so far. But Id be careful not to get any kind of particles in there..

So far I am really liking them thats for sure!

do you think you could fit it on a BRT hangar and glue it or is there no room at all?

You can take your axle out of the hanger and sand the ends of the hanger to make room for the dual bearings. Don't do it if you think you're gonna fuck it up.

good info Bakko. Snug wheels on Ytrucks without tuning would be awesome.

There's no point getting them for BRTs. All the hassle and you could get the originals less sketch.

Does it fit TD longboard trucks ?

yep they fit every truck with longer axels allowing dual bearings to fit

Yes, they fit TDLB hangers just fine. All though a little grinding with a metal file at the ends of the hangers where the wheel overlap the hangers is needed. But it is very little and hardly any work at all. I also used the four microwashers that come with the regular Oak Wheels, one for each wheel so they fit snug and roll smooth..

Do the DUAL BEARING OAK WHEELS come in any other colors? Also, Are they better than Ywheels?

i got oak duals and i think theyre a little bit harder than the normal rv and doesnt squeek so much like the normal oaks and theyre bigger then the rv oaks.
In the end its to each his own.
@Couch982 ywheels are much softer than the oak duals. But both wheels preform very well.
The oak duals are not so bumpi like the ywheels =D
(the new ywheels are very soft in my opinion)
