PostSubject: The axle/pin has slipped in the hanger of my BRTs    The axle/pin has slipped in the hanger of my BRTs EmptySat Mar 28, 2015 6:55 pm

Hey everyone, I bought a whole new Berlinwood pro set 2 weeks ago
I played with it only 4 days after I got it, until this happened:
one of the axles has gotten a little bit longer than the other side of the hanger.
whant should I do ?

A few notes

1.I got the trucks when it seems like both trucks have an axle which is a little bit longer than the other side

here is a picture of them:

2.There are a few etch marks on both hangars, but it's really noticeable only on one of them,

Thanks in advance

Brt's do that since the axle is a single piece of metal. The best way to solve it is to put the wheels on, stick a tool on each nut and tighten them up at the same time. It'll pull the axle towards the centre happy

Hey thanks for the help I really appreciate it,
I did like he said in the video on one of the trucks and it worked, but doesn't this ruin the axle's screw?
Does everybody do this even to new trucks?

Maybe it doesn't ruin the screw, but it is definitely very very inconvenient to screw the nuts.

What, now in order to unscrew the nut I have to use two tools instead of one?

I did this about an hour ago and when I wanted to unscrew the nut in order to switch the wheels it simply wasn't possible, the axle spun non-stop even when there were two tools on each nut, in fact, the nut that I wanted to remove, that was screwed right to the end, I wasn't able to. It got to a situation where I removed the whole axle and I found it hard to put back because I put it in incorrectly, and then I removed it with a plier and after I understand that you have to put it in differently, I put it in the right way easily, but the problem is that every slight touch on the axle causes it to move. In one second I can pull out the axle from the hanger, have I ruined the axle?

This has just been a disaster.
