| Subject: Y Truck X4's Problem. Tue May 26, 2015 8:00 pm | |
| So I've had a pair of Y Trucks x4's for like 3 weeks now, I've used them ever since I got em. Recently I've came across the problem of them not being able to stay on my deck. The baseplates aren't stripped because I'm able to screw the screws in successfully without the trucks being applied on the deck. It's either the deck I'm using is too thick, which is just a standard 5 ply deck, or the screws are too short? Where can I get longer screws? |

| What deck are you using? Maybe the veneer is too thick , or countersinks not deep enough?

I'm using a Steep Hill Ambraya Burl 34mm deck. I think the deck is too thick. It took a while for me to set it up, and it would fall off sometimes. I was bummed out cause I thought the bases were stripped, but they aren't. |

| You could make the counter sinks a bit deeper too, might look a bit weird but it should work |

| How tight do you have your trucks? Because on my YTrucks the kingpin comes out of the bottom of the baseplate and will not allow to baseplate to be flush unless the deck has a kingpin hole. I ride my trucks pretty loose, so I don't have a problem but I can see it being an issue for someone |

| Yeah you shouldn't have that problem unless the counter sink is not deep enough sometime it helps to push the ytrucks screws deeper in the wood because of how thick the screws are tho |
