So you're about to sell something and the buyer agrees with the price etc. and suddenly the buyer doesn't respond anymore... Most of us have at least once experienced this occasion and it sure is annoying as fuck. The most annoying thing about this is: You don't even get a response its just like an ignorance which is pretty un respectful.

Maybe admins have to do something about this , for instance a -0.5 on their reference page if the buyer ends up ignoring the seller for no reason?

BTW; this is just an opinion and a suggestion , Iam not talking someone pacific just making a point to make the sell and trading forums more pleasant

Cheers,
Legacy

I've had a lot of experience with BST on other forums and websites and I can say that I've experienced this more than once. If I don't hear from the buyer within a day, I inform them that I'm going to post it back up if they don't respond. Usually they do but if not I don't waste any time on them.

I don't know how the marketplace is here but I've never seen another forum have admin intervention for something like this. All though it would be nice just to let people know that the buyer does this.

Well this could be related to other issues like no internet. Another thing is that the messaging system on FBHQ is crap. It works but there isn't enough space so if you're getting a ton of new messages you might not even see the old ones.

One thing that people used to do to avoid situations like this was posting a list of rules in their transactions thread. Don't know if people still do this but it was a good place to say "no retracting" so people wouldn't bid unless they had the money and absolutely knew they would follow through. I do think it is a good idea to give people who constantly bid but don't buy a deterrent to doing so. I like the idea.

I think this is one of those things that you just have to expect to happen every now and then. It's a market with a lot of kids without much experience buying/selling anything.
