Hi recently I've been having a few issues with my ring finger hitting the board when doing nose manuals and nose grinds. I'm trying to learn how to tuck but I'm finding it hard. I understand you don't need to tuck as such but I like that style and would then probably find nollie/switch easier.

Does anybody have a good method to learn how to tuck

just try doing it. you'll just have to get used to it. you can also try half tucked and half not similar to tim hurley and gary chin

Yo, I had the same problem. I just hated the look of my fingerboarding not tucking. It was hard to get used to for sure. I just kept fingerboarding tucked as much as I could. You will get used to it more and more over time and start getting better. Everytime I went back to untucked, tricks would feel easier and better, so I got kind of discouraged. Like, should I really he switching styles if the other one makes my tricks better? But I kept at the tucking, and have way surpassed my untucked skill level. Now if I untuck it feels down right stupid. Just keep, doing it. Your hand will feel crampy sometimes, and tricks won't be as easy, but that will go away eventually and it will feel normal.

Im also finding it hard to keep my fingers tucked while landing on obstacles is there a way to help?
